Our Services
Body
With our experienced physicians and full spectrum of treatments, we’ll ensure you are guided to an effective solution for your concerns. Many patients will see the most benefit from a tailored combination plan.
-
A non-invasive skin treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to target deep layers of tissue and stimulate collagen production. The result is tighter, smoother skin and an improvement in body contours, cellulite, and stretch marks. It can be used on a variety of areas, including the abdomen, thighs, arms, and buttocks. Vital Body + Skin is the only clinic in Calgary with the Morpheus8 Body technology.
-
CoolSculpting® uses fat freezing technology called cryolipolysis to target stubborn areas of fat on the back, arms, legs, or bra line. This innovative non-surgical treatment freezes fat cells so that they’re naturally eliminated by your body after treatment with no downtime required. A package of several sessions will give you optimal results.
-
We’re proud to be the only clinic in Alberta that can offer this powerful, minimally invasive treatment. BodyTite and FaceTite treatments use radiofrequency (RF) technology to liquify and eliminate fat deposits and tighten skin. In the right patient, BodyTite and FaceTite can be a good alternative to surgery, treating the skin laxity and the loss of elasticity that is common to experience as we age. These treatments can also be part of a combination treatment plan with liposuction and Morpheus8.
-
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes excess fat deposits from targeted areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, and thighs. It can help contour and reshape these areas, resulting in a more toned and streamlined appearance. Liposuction is performed via small punctures and thus does not leave significant scars.
-
Gynecomastia is a condition in which male breast tissue becomes enlarged, often resulting in an unwanted puffy or feminine appearance. It can be caused by hormonal imbalances, certain medications, or genetic factors. CoolSculpting, liposuction, Morpheus8 Body, and surgical excision are all excellent options that we offer to restore a flatter, masculine chest and improve self-confidence.
-
Many people notice hanging or loose skin after the body undergoes major changes like weight loss or pregnancy. Our team includes skilled physicians who specialize in body contouring to help you feel comfortable and confident again.
Excisional skin surgery is the most powerful solution to target excess skin. At Vital, we have two CPSA accredited operating rooms to provide safe, comfortable surgeries with optimal outcomes. For patients that desire a more dramatic result and understand the potential scars and downtime that come with surgery, excisional procedures offer the best results.
Bodytite is a minimally-invasive option that uses radiofrequency (RF) to tighten skin and can allow patients to avoid the scars, risks, recovery time, and the need for general anesthetic associated with surgery. This can be the perfect compromise for some patients, avoiding the higher costs and commitments of surgery while still delivering a great result for the abdomen, upper arms, and thighs.
Skin
We’re serious about skin solutions you can count on—we only offer the treatments that reliably produce results that patients love. When it comes to injectables, we take a cautious, gentle approach that is subtle and natural.
-
Botox is an injectable treatment that uses a purified form of botulinum toxin to temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that cause them. It is a minimally invasive treatment that can help you achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance without surgery or downtime.
-
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that can restore volume, smooth the skin, and enhance facial structure. Dermal fillers are often used to enhance the lips, cheekbones, jawline, and under-eye area, resulting in a more defined and rested appearance with minimal downtime.
-
A gentle skin treatment that uses intense pulsed light to improve the appearance of sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and age spots on the face and body. It reduces red and brown areas of the skin to achieve a more even complexion with minimal downtime. Lumecca is the most advanced IPL device available today.
-
An innovative skin tightening treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to remodel subcutaneous tissue and stimulate new collagen production. It can soften fine lines and wrinkles, improve the appearance of scars, and create a lifted appearance. Morpheus8 can be used anywhere on the face, including the neck, jawline, and under-eyes.
-
A laser treatment that targets a myriad of skin concerns, including rosacea, uneven skin tone, acne, broken capillaries, enlarged pores, and fine lines. It works by gently heating the upper layers of the skin with micro-pulses to stimulate fresh collagen production, break down scar tissue and constrict targeted blood vessels. This versatile treatment will be customized to your concerns.
-
A safe, effective, and virtually painless treatment that uses advanced laser technology to remove unwanted hair on the body, including the bikini area, legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin and sideburns. Four to six sessions are typically needed for long-lasting results.
Veins & Therapeutics
-
A non-invasive laser treatment that targets and reduces the appearance of spider veins and other vascular skin conditions on the face and body including redness, bruising, broken capillaries, and rosacea. It uses advanced laser technology to gently heat and close off the affected blood vessels.
-
VariLite laser is a solution for visible veins, redness, rosacea, brown patches, and vascular lesions on the face or body. Targeted rays of light are drawn to the redness or pigmentation in the treated area, triggering the body’s natural process to dissolve unwanted cells and renew an even appearance.
-
Sclerotherapy is an injectable solution for visible varicose or spider veins. The redness or visibility of these veins is often caused by blood that’s pooling or collecting instead of draining as it moves through the body. Sclerotherapy injects the treated vein with a fine needle to seal it shut. Over the following weeks, the blood flow slows to the area and the visibility of the vein dissipates. Treatments typically last 30 minutes and multiple appointments may be suggested depending on the size and type of the treatment area.
-
Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis is a common concern, and tends to affect patients in the armpits, palms of hands, soles of feet, face and chest, or groin areas. This condition can be embarrassing and frustrating when it feels out of your control. As an alternative to Botox, which can become costly since treatments must be repeated regularly, we offer Morpheus8 treatments that target sweat glands for a longer-lasting reduction in symptoms after 3-4 sessions.
-
Dry, red eyes can be a cause of distraction and frustration in everyday life, making it hard to work or function comfortably. You might experience trouble seeing, headaches, blurred vision, or straining along with your dry eyes. Typical treatments like eye drops or applying heat don’t work for all patients. Inmode Forma-I treatments use targeted wavelengths of light to reduce inflammation and help release blocked glands that are responsible for tear flow and secretion. This is a simple and quick in-office treatment with great results.
-
This inflammatory skin condition can be painful and cause scarring. Patients with this condition often think that they have cystic acne or sores because it manifests in painful, swollen bumps or lumps. Hydradenitis suppurativa is actually a disease of the sweat glands and is more common in areas where the skin rubs against itself like the armpits or groin. The symptoms of this condition can be dramatically improved by treating the glands with Morpheus8.
